Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl

The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl ("HRRB") is a reading competition offered to 4th and 5th graders at Wolf Creek Elementary. The HRRB is a competition unlike any other academic competition that uses questions from the Georgia Book Award nominees in a quiz bowl-like format. The students practice once a week from June-January to prepare for the big district competition in January or February. If the students place 1st or 2nd in the district competition the students will represent the school district in a state wide competition.
